1. BILL 1209 — 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE — EMERGENCY GENERATORS Consider
a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1209, a proposed ordinance
amending Appendix C, Zoning, of the Code of Ordinances by adding Section 45-23,
"Emergency Generators Required for Automotive Service Stations" requiring permanent
generators for newly constructed and reconstructed service stations; providing for installation
of transfer switches at existing stations.
Consider a motion to enact Bill 1209 as Ordinance 2006-20.

2. BILL 1215 — 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE — COMMERCIAL USE PROPERTY WASTE
DISPOSAL FEES Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of
Bill 1215, a proposed ordinance amending Section 14-30 of the Village Code of Ordinances,
"Commercial Use Property Waste Disposal Fees and Collection Procedures" to increase the
annual disposal fees collected by the Village and correctly reference Palm Beach County
Property Appraiser.
Consider a motion to enact Bill 1215 as Ordinance 2006-21.

3. BILL 1216 —2ND READING OF ORDINANCE — BUILDING PERMIT FEES Consider a
motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1216, a proposed ordinance
amending Section 108, Fees, of the 2004 Edition of the FL Building Code as amended and
adopted by Section 6-16 of the Village Code of Ordinances, to increase building permit fees.
Consider a motion to enact Bill 1216 as Ordinance 2006-22.

4. BILL 1217 — 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE — ESTABLISHING PUBLIC WORKS AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS Consider a motion to approve first
reading of Bill 1217, a proposed ordinance amending the Village Code of Ordinances to
eliminate the Dept. of Public Services and create a Dept. of Public Works and a Department
of Community Development.

The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or pro -forma nature. Councilmen
may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically convey that item to the Regular
Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

1. RESOLUTION — DOMANI P.U.D. EXTENSION (TABLED ON 8/24/06) Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution approving a minor modification to the Domani P.U.D. by
extending the commencement of development until 1/14/07.

2. RESOLUTION — CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND Consider a motion to adopt a proposed
resolution authorizing budget amendment to transfer unexpended capital projects monies to
Capital Projects Fund for use in 2006-2007 fiscal year.

3. RESOLUTION — INDEPENDENT AUDITING SERVICES AGREEMENT Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution approving an agreement for Annual Independent Auditing Services
with Nowlen, Holt & Miner, P.A.

4. RESOLUTION — SHORT-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE RENEWAL Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution accepting the renewal proposal from UnumProvident for short-term
disability insurance coverage for certain Public Safety employees.

5. RESOLUTION — EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM RENEWAL Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution accepting the renewal proposal of The Center for Family Services
of Palm Beach County, Inc., to provide an Employee Assistance Program for all full-time Village
employees.

6. RESOLUTION — PROPERTY, LIABILITY, WORKERS COMP INSURANCE Consider a motion
to adopt a proposed resolution accepting a proposal to provide the Village with property, liability,
and worker's compensation insurance coverage.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the
Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence
upon which the appeal is to be based.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature
of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or
deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
