Discussion concerning a draft ordinance creating a Waterways Board to address marine and waterway issues within the Village, with possible merging with the Manatee Board. Discussion concerning recommendation of the Annexation Committee to seek proposals for an annexation consultant for the Lost Tree, Hidden Key, and Portage Landing annexations. REMARKS CODE AMENDMENT – BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APPEALS TO CIRCUIT COURT. i. Discussion concerning a draft ordinance amending the Code regarding appeals to Circuit Court of decisions made by the Board of Adjustment by deleting the requirement of a trial de novo. REMARKS EMPLOYERS MUTUAL, INC. (EMI) – AGREEMENT. j. Discussion concerning an agreement for services with Employers Mutual, Inc. to provide third-party administrative services for the Village’s self-funded medical, dental and FSA plans for Village employees. REMARKS AUDITING SERVICES. k. Discussion concerning amending the contract with Rachlin, Cohen & Holtz regarding the notice of intent to renew, or direct staff to solicit RFP’s for auditing services. REMARKS CODE AMENDMENT – TENTS IN C-2 DISTRICT. l. Further discussion concerning criteria for the use of tents in C-2 District under special circumstances for the purpose of preparing an ordinance.
