MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SESSION
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
FEBRUARY 15, 2007

Jimmy Knight, Public Safety Director
Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present, except the Village Attorney.
PURPOSE OF THE SPECIAL SESSION
The purpose of the Special Session was to interview applicants and make appointments to the
Library Advisory Board.
The following persons were interviewed by the Village Council:
Bernard Aronson
Grace Covert
Christine DelGuzzi
Monique Giliberti
Susan Ryan
Helen Vandersluis
Vice Mayor Eissey moved to appoint Kari Foster as the regular member and Peter Carvajal as
the 1st alternate member to the Library Advisory Board. President Pro Tem Manuel seconded
the motion, which passed unanimously.
RESOLUTION 2007-27 ADOPTED — APPOINTING LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
Council consensus was to vote for three, and then vote for one from among the top three selected.
By written ballot, copies of which are attached to the copy of record, the Council appointed
Christine DelGuzzi as 2nd alternate member to the Library Advisory Board. Thereafter, the
names of Kari Foster, Peter Carvajal, and Christine DelGuzzi was entered into Resolution 2007-27.
Councilman O'Meilia moved that Resolution 2007-27 entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING A REGULAR MEMBER, A 1ST ALTERNATE, AND A
2ND ALTERNATE TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
be adopted. Vice Mayor Eissey seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
