Ordinance 071 Annexation of Certain LandsORDINANCE NO. 71 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS. ~ ~ -~ ~- WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows: ' "Upon petition of the owner or owners of any lands adjoining or within two (2) miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality, to annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial limits of the munici- pality hereby established. Whenever any land shall be annexed to the municipality hereby established, upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof and in • accordance with the power and authority hereby given, then such land so annexed shall be and become a part of the municipality hereby established with the same force and effect as though the same had been orginal- ly incorporated in the territorial boundaries thereof." and, WHEREAS, the following petitions have been received by the Village Council "Village Councilmen Village of North Palm Beach, Florida Gentlemen: ' "The undersigned hereby requests the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, to annex the follow- ing described real property and to make such proper- ty a part of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida: "The North 1/2 of the South 2/3 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of .Section 17; and the North 1/2 of the South 2/3 of the Nest 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southest 1~'4'of Section 17; all in Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm-Beach County, Florida. "Dated this day of 1961. "/s/ Carmen Lobrutto Carmen Lobrutto "/s/ Matilda Lobrutto Matilda Lobrutto" "Village Councilmen Village of North Palm Beach, Florida Gentlemen: "The undersigned hereby requests the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, to annex the following described real property and to make such property a part of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida: "The West three (3) acres of the North 1/3 of the Southwest 1/4 of the North- west 1/4 of the Woutheast 1/4 of Section 17, Townshix> 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida. "Dated this day of 1961. /s/ William Pope Brown, individually and as Attorney-in-Fact for DOHS Llewellyn Brown Buckner" Ordinance #71 Page 2. and, LVHEREAS, it appears said lands are owned by said persons and are geographically so located as to comply with the Charter provision above quoted and sould be annexed by the Village; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. .The following lands in Palm Beach County, Florida, be and they are hereby annexed to the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida: "The North 1/2 of the .South 2/3 of the Southwest 1/4 of the ]Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of .Section 17; and the North 1/2 of the South 2/3 of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 17; all in Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida." and "The iNest three (3) acres of the North 1/3 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 17, Town- ship 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida." Section 2. Such lands shall hereafter be a part of the municipality of North Palm Beach with the .same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated .in the Village territorial boundaries.
