AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, BEING THE COMPREHENSIPE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE AILL.4GE BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE R-2 MULTIPLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND RE-CLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS R-1 SLVGLE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT; BY DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP UP TO DATE; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFEICT HEREWITH
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,

WHEREAS, the Village Council pursuant to authority vested in it under
Section 7.~ of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordi-

zoning ordinance in certain respects; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amendments was
duly held pursuant to publication of the date and purpose of said hearing as
prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it will be to the

best interest of public welfare, safety and morals to amend Ordinance No. 20 ir_
the manner discussed and proposed at said hearing; now, therefore
BE IR ORDAINED BY THE VIIS,AGE COUNCIL OF TAE VILLAGE CF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLTAWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No, 20 entitled "A
ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BU_TI.DINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES;
REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF
YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF POPULATION AND FOR
SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (b) DISTRIGTS AND ESTABLISHLYG THE BOIRdDARIES THEREOF
AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USID; ESTABLISHING
A BOARD OF ADJITSTMENT AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOP. THE VIOLATION OF ITS PREVISIONS"
as amended by and the same is hereby further amended in the following respects,
to-wit:
1, The following described property is hereby removed from the
zoning classification R-2 t,ultiple Family Dwelling District:

Lots 22 through 37, inclusive,
Block l~0, Plat No. b, Pillage of
North Palm Beach, as recorded in
Plat Book 26, at pages 5, ZO-12
inclusive, Public Records of Palm
Beach County, F7.orida.
Said land shall henceforth be classified R-1 Single Family
Dwelling District.
• Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to reflect upon the official zoning map, by hatching or other appropriate means
of designation, the changes in zoning classification effected under this amend-
i.ng ordinance.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section ~. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and approval as provided by law.
