A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING EASEMENTS IN FAVOR
OF FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT AT ANCHORAGE PARK AND
LAKESIDE PARK FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRANSFORMERS AS
PART OF THE STORM SECURE UNDERGROUND PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
EASEMENTS; AND PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, as part of the Storm Secure Underground Program, FPL has requested approval for
the installation of transformers at Anchorage Park and Lakeside Park as part of the Storm Secure
Underground Program; and
WHEREAS, FPL has requested an Easement in each location for the installation and ongoing
maintenance of the transformers; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the approval of the transformer locations and
Easements is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the installation of transformers at Anchorage
Park and Lakeside Park and the required Easements in favor of Florida Power and Light for the
installation and maintenance of the transformers, copies of which are attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The Village Council further authorizes the Mayor and Village Clerk to
execute the Easements and all required documents on behalf of the Village.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 31ST DAY OF AUGUST, 2026.
