Norris, Mayor Dr. Edward M. Eissey, Vice Mayor Donald G. Noel, President Pro Tem Charles R. O'Meilia, Councilman Joseph A. Tringali, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager George W. Baldwin, Village Attorney Kathleen F. Kelly, CMC, Village Clerk Mayor Norris called the Public Hearing to order at 7:20 p.m. All members of Council were present. All members of staff were present. PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments from the public concerning Bill 1051, a proposed ordinance excluding restaurants operating under Florida 4-COP-SRX Licenses from adult entertainment establishments, and providing that certain uses shall not locate and operate within the distance requirements from such establishments. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC Manny Grinn, 536 Greenway Drive, who stated that if he wanted to open a restaurant next to an adult entertainment business, it's what he chooses to do, not public policy. He also commented on legal fees paid to Special Counsel Thomas Baird in the case against Crystal's adult entertainment establishment, which he said amounted to $185,000.
