A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
ADOPTED AS PART OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET TO AMEND THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT FEE SCHEDULE
APPLICABLE TO BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS TO COMPLY WITH
RECENT CHANGES TO STATE LAW; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2025-15 ("Budget Ordinance") on September
25, 2025, the Village Council adopted a Master Fee Schedule as part of the annual budget for Fiscal
Year 2026; and
WHEREAS, Section 6 of the Budget Ordinance provides that the Village Council may revise the
Master Fee Schedule by Resolution during the Fiscal Year without need to amend the Budget
Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff has recommended revisions to certain Community Development fees, as
set forth in the Master Fee Schedule, to comply with recent statutory changes governing the
methodology for calculating fees relating to the issuance of building permits, including plan review
fees; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified and are incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby revises the Master Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2026 to
amend the Community Development Department fees as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3. All other provisions of the Master Fee Schedule, to the extent not specifically revised
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
