To all the conserva-
tives in South Florida,
the elections were all
but completely disap-
pointing. However, ma-
jority does rule and
residents queried
seemed pretty satisfied
Elvi Wright
Elvi Wright, Patin
Beach Gardens - "I
really don't know, bas-
ically because I really
wasn't interested (in the
elections) at all. For my
own reasons I don't feel
the government is doing
what they should be
doing."
Richard Robert
Richard Robert, West
Palm Beach - "The
elections went just as I
hoped they would. I
expected they would
turn out the way they
did and I am real
happy!"

with the election re-
sults.
A lot of people ques-
tioned didn't feel they
were qualified to answer
because of recently mov-
ing to the area. The
northerners are arriving
Jim Weis , North Palm
Beach - "In general, I
was satisfied with the
results. I don't vote
along party lines, I vote
for the person. I was
particularly pleased to
see the county appraiser
retained. I think persons
elected will probably do
as well as everyone who
ran. I think the Gover-
nor did a good job and
didn't see any reason to
change the Governor
now."
Eva Weis
Eva Weis, North Palm
Beach - "I really
shouldn't say too much
— I think they turned
out fine, as far as I'm
concerned. I haven't
been down here long
enough and I find the
biggest problem is
knowing who the candi-
dates are."
in droves it seems. Most
of the residents here,
now, are from some-
where else anyway so
the question, "how do
you feel about the elec-
tion results?" was an-
swered the following
way:
Jim Weis
Sharon Leiter, Glen -
ridge - "I'm delighted
Tom Lewis was elected.
He helped build the
North Palm Beach Lib-
rary and he has been a
good friend of the lib-
rary. Generally, Gover-
nor Graham and Secre-
tary of State Firestone
are very supportive of
library services."
