OBITUARY
Larry Robbins,
82, former NPB
Village Manager
Larry Robbins, Village
Manager for North Palm Beach
from 1967 to 1975, passed away
at the age of 82 on Tuesday,
September 6, following
complications from surgery.
In addition to North Palm
Beach, Mr. Robbins was city
manager of Palm Springs from
1976 to 1978, and city manager of
Lake Worth from 1979 to 1981.
He retired as utilities director for
the City of Lake Worth in 1982.
While Mr. Robbins was Village
Manager in North Palm Beach, the
library was built, the Village Hall
doubled in size, the tennis complex
was started, and improvements
were made in the Village's
recreation facilities.
He is survived by his wife of 35
years, Betty, and five children, two
stepchildren, a brother, a sister, 12
grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made in Larry
Robbins' name to Hospice of Palm
Beach County, 5300 East Ave.,
West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
