AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 31 OF SUCH VILLAGE, PASSED FEBRUARY 25, 1958, AS
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 52 OF SUCH VILLAGE, PASSED JULY 12, 1960, SO AS TO ESTABLISH A
BULKHEAD LINE FOR AN AREA OF THE VILLAGE NOT HERETOFORE COVERED BY A BULKHEAD LINE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance 31 of such Village, passed February 25, 1958)
as amended by Ordinance No. 52 of such Village, passed July 12, 1960, established a
bulkhead line for the areas of such Village, shown on Bulkhead Maps Nos. 1, 2 and 3
attached to said Ordinance No. 52; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to establish a bulkhead line for an additional area of the
Village, shown on said Bulkhead Maps Nos. 1, 2 and 3; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been duly held and in accordance with the procedure
set forth by law to consider the suggestions, proposals, comments, criticisms and arguments
of those residents, property owners and other interested parties relative to such addition-
al area; and
WHEREAS, it appears for the reasons initially set forth in Ordinance No. 31 that
such additional area should be governed by a bulkhead line adopted under the authority
of the laws mentioned in the initial portion of Ordinance No. 31;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 31 OF SUCH VILLAGE, PASSED FEBRUARY
25, 1958, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 52 OF SUCH VILLAGE, PASSED JULY 12, 1960, BE AND THE
SAME IS HEREBY FURTHER AMENDED SO THAT SECTION 1 SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby established a comprehensive system
of bulkhead lines in the waters of Lake Worth and other tidal waters within the terri-
torial linits of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, and said bulkhead lines shall
be along the lines indicated and shown in red on the maps attached hereto, made a part
hereof, and which are marked respectively Bulkhead Maps Nos. 1, 2$ 3 and 4.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, that in all other respects the aforesaid Ordinances Nos. 31 and 52 be and the same
are hereby ratified and confirmed and that this Ordinance shall become effective upon its
passage as provided by law.

PASSED AND ADOPTED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSAGE THIS 1Lth day of
February , 1961.
