A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF BRIDGE AMENITIES FOR THE U.S. HIGHWAY ONE
BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT OVER THE EARMAN RIVER; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department requested the sole source approval (without written
quotes) of six (6) benches and two (2) anchored trash bins from Forms+Surfaces and twenty (20)
anchored planters with irrigation wells from Green Theory for the U.S. Highway One bridge
replacement project over the Earman River; and
WHEREAS, the sole source purchase is requested due to specific branding and aesthetic standards
for this project approved by the Village Council in 2021; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council approves the sole source purchase of benches and trash bins
from Forms+Surfaces and planters with irrigation wells from Green Theory at a total cost of
$46,594.40 (for a total project cost of $51,594.40 including contingency), with funds expended
from Infrastructure Surtax Account No. I7321-66210 (Public Works/Streets & Grounds — U.S.
One Bridge Amenities) and authorizes the Village Manager to take all steps necessary to effectuate
the purchase.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
