SUBJECT: Code Revisions - Joint Workshop on February 26 at 6:30 PM
Backup material is attached for the February 26th joint workshop of the Village Council and the
Planning Commission. During this workshop we will cover chapters 14-19 of the code revisions,
highlighting the following subjects:
1. Future buildings along US Highway i ;v
2. Regulating plans al Ong US-1
3. Building heights along US-1 •j�'
4. Mixed -use pattern ✓s. mixed -use building Ii
5. Permitted uses along US-1
6. Density along US-1
7. Parking lots along US-1
8. Alleys behind US-1 parcels
9. Land added to new C-MU zoning district
io. C-iA land added to C-S district (formerly C-1)
n. C-G district (formerly C-2)
12. C-T district along Alt. AIA (formerly C-C)
Attached to this memo is a draft of slides we will use to focus on each of these issues, after we review
several issues discussed at the January 15th workshop.
Also attached is actual text of the code revisions for these chapters, with new language underlined
and deleted language struck through. Yellow highlighting is used to call attention to the most
important changes. The text in these chapters has been revised slightly since the first complete draft
of these revisions (dated November 1); the latest complete draft, dated December 20, is available
from www.villagecodeupdate.org.
The final page shows our preliminary schedule of additional workshops on these code revisions.
