A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE
2026 FREIGHTLINER M2 GRAPPLE TRUCK THROUGH
ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS GROUP, INC. PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING SOURCEWELL CONTRACT FOR BULK
SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING EQUIPMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department requested the purchase of one 2026 Freightliner M2
grapple truck through Environmental Products Group, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an
existing Sourcewell Contract for Bulk Solid Waste and Recycling Equipment with Petersen
Industries, Inc. (Contract No. 010825-PII); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one 2026 Freightliner M2
grapple truck through Environmental Products Group, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an
existing Sourcewell Contract for Bulk Solid Waste and Recycling Equipment with Petersen
Industries, Inc. (Contract No. 010825-PII) at a total cost of $237,211.61, with funds expended
from Special Projects Fund Account No. Q5541-66410 (Fund Expense — Automotive). The
Village Council further authorizes the Village Manager to take all actions necessary to effectuate
the purchase.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
