MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP SESSION
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

ROLL CALL
Mayor Noel called the meeting to order at 9:15 p.m. All members of Council were present. All
members of staff were present.
COUNCIL MATTERS
Discussion was held concerning participation in Groundhog Job Shadow Day, a half -day
program in which students "shadow" a Village employee. Council consensus was to participate
and President Pro Tem O'Meilia was requested to provide information on this program to the
Village Manager.
VILLAGE MANAGER MATTERS
Public Services Superintendent Hal Beard and Dennis Thomas of Miller Legg reported on the
Prosperity Farms Road Beautification Project.
Building Official Bill Denison discussed the timeline for the Northlake Boulevard Streetscape
Project.
Mr. Bates reported on negotiations with The Benjamin School for property for a north substation.
It was confirmed that the negotiating team is comprised of Councilman Norris, the Public Safety
Director, and the Village Attorney.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
