A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN VEHICLES
FOR THE VILLAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF FIVE 2025 CHEVROLET TAHOE PATROL VEHICLES FROM BRANNEN
MOTOR COMPANY AND WAIVING THE VILLAGE'S PURCHASING POLICIES
AND PROCEDURES; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 2026
CHEVROLET TAHOE DETECTIVE VEHICLE FROM GARBER CHEVROLET
AND ONE 2026 TOYOTA SEQUOIA DETECTIVE VEHICLE FROM SEMINOLE
TOYOTA PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING FLORIDA
SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING THE OUTFITTING OF
THE VEHICLES BY DANA SAFETY SUPPLY PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING CITY OF MIAMI CONTRACT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of seven vehicles for the Village's Police
Department (five 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe patrol vehicles from Brennan Motor Company, one 2026
Chevrolet Tahoe from Garber Chevrolet, and one 2026 Toyota Sequoia from Seminole Toyota); and
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended that all seven vehicles be equipped to the Village's
specifications by Dana Safety Supply, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an existing City of Miami
Contract (Bid No. 1301386 — Purchase and Installation of Municipal Vehicle Equipment, Citywide); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution authorizing the
purchase of the vehicles is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of five (5) 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe
patrol vehicles from Brannen Motor Company and waives the Village's purchasing policies and
procedures. The Village Council also approves the purchase of one 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe detective
vehicle from Garber Chevrolet and one 2025 Toyota Sequoia detective vehicle from Seminole Toyota
pursuant to pricing established in Florida Sheriff's Association Contract FSA24-VEL32.0 (Pursuit,
Administrative, and Other Vehicles) and the outfitting of all seven vehicles by Dana Safety Supply.
pursuant to pricing established in an existing City of Miami Contract (Bid No. 1301386). The total cost
of the purchase shall not exceed $511,714.25, with funds expended from Special Projects Fund Account
No. Q5541-66410 (Fund Expense — Automotive).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
