A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATE OF 7.4000
MILS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026; ESTABLISHING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE
FOR THE FIRST HEARING ON THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AND PROPOSED
MILLAGE RATE; AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE
REQUIRED FORMS TO THE PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065(2)(b), Florida Statutes, the Village Council is required to
advise the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser of its proposed millage rate, its rolled back rate, and
the date, time, and place of the first public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby adopts a tentative millage rate of 7.4000 for General
Operating Budget purposes and a tentative millage rate of 0.0000 for Debt Service, for a total combined
millage rate of 7.4000 mils for Fiscal Year 2026. The tentative millage rate is 5.34% above the rolled
back rate of 7.0247 mils.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby establishes Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. as
the date and time of the first hearing on the tentative budget and proposed millage rate. The public
hearing shall be held at Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida, 33408.
Section 3. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to submit forms DR -420
(Certification of Taxable Value) and DR -420 MM -P (Municipality Maximum Millage Levy Calculation)
to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
