AN ORDINANCE OF :Ibh VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM, BEACH, PAIM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE #20, BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE, BY PRESCRIBING ZONING OR
USE CLASSIFICATIONS FOR CERTAIN LANDS RECENTLY ANNEX® TO Y'tib VILLAGE, AND BY DiteL TNG TEE
VILLAGE MANAGER TO APPROPRIATELY REFLECT SUCH ADDITIONAL DESIGNATIONS UPON 'TAM OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
WHEREAS, certain lands were annexed and incorporated into the territorial limits of
the Village upon enactment of Ordinance W30 of said Village, said land being the same as that
reflected upon and encompassed by Village of North Palm Beach Plat A, said Plat being of record
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, in Plat
Book 25 at pages 229 and 230; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council pursuant to the authority vested in it under Section 14 of
Ordinance W20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, has deemed it
essential and necessary to amend said Ordinance W20 in the manner prescribed below in order to
further the scheme of comprehensive zoning for said Village; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amendments was duly held pursuant
to publication of the date and purpose of said hearing as prescribed by law; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF lril VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as
follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance j20 entitled. "A COMPREHENSIVE ORDINANCE REGULATING '1MN USES
OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR
TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES: REGULATING TEE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS
AND STRUCTURES, THE SIWF. OF YARDS AND O'stitat OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF POPULA-
TION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF
AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS: DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED: ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT

THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS." be and the same is hereby amended in the following respects,
to -wit:
All land included within the Village of North Palm Beach Plat A4 with the
exception of the lots set forth under "b" below, shall henceforth be classi-
fied and designated as R-1, Single Family Dwelling District.
(b) The following properties shall henceforth be classified and designated as
R-2, Multiple Family Dwelling District, to -wit:
Lots 1-9 inclusive, Block E
Lots 24-32 Inclusive, Block D
Lots 1 and 25, Block C
Lots 1 and 28, Block B
Lot 1, Block A
Lot 1, Block D
Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to conform the
official zoningmap in such manner that the zoning changes prescribed herein shall be appropriately
reflected thereon.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval as
provided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on first reading this 28th day of October, 1958.
