A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A
PORTABLE GENERATOR FROM GENSET SERVICES, INC. PURSUANT TO
PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING SOURCEWELL CONTRACT;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village is in need of a portable generator to maintain power to key Village
facilities and infrastructure in the event of a power outage; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff recommended the purchase of a 330kVA portable emergency generator
from Genset Services, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an existing Sourcewell Contract (RFP,
No. 092222); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a 330kVA portable
emergency generator from Genset Services, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an existing
Sourcewell Contract (RFP No. 092222) at a total cost of $159,758.51, with funds expended from
Special Projects Fund Account No. Q5541-66490 (Machinery and Equipment). The Village
Council further authorizes the Village Manager to take all actions necessary to effectuate the
purchase.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
