HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1958-030 Annexation of Brukenfeld Area Plat 4/06 LANDS. and • ORDINANCE #30 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN 4***it i aNK1:uuz-sc1*- WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows: "Upon petition of the owner or owners of any lands adjoining or within two (2) miles of the territorials boundaries of said municipality, to annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial limits of the munici- pality hereby established. Whenever any land shall be annexed to the municipality hereby established, upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof and in accordance with the power and authority hereby given, then such land so annexed shall be and become a partof the municipality hereby established with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated in the territorial boundaries thereof" WHEREAS, the following petition has been received by the Village Council: "Route 4, Box 4 West Palm Beach, Florida March 19, 1958 Village Council Village of North Palm Beach Florida Gentlemen: As owners of the below described land, we hereby petition this land area be annexed to the territorial limits of North Palm Beach: All of the Northwest Quarter, Section 17, Township 42 South, Range 43 East, except the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and except the East 781 feet of the South 390.5 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter lying West of the right-of-way of the PROS- PERITY FARMS ROAD and except the East 781 feet of the North 390.5 feet of that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter lying West of the right-of- way of PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD and except that part of the Northwest Quarter lying South of the Northerly right-of-way line of the Earman River Canal, as in Deed Book 1047, page 359, and except a parcel sold to Lucille Clark, as in Deed Book 1084, page 307, as cor- rected in Deed Book 1090, page 509, as corrected in Deed Book 1104, page 645 and except the East 33 feet of the Northwest Quarter deed to Palm Beach County, Florida, as in Deed Book 877, page 73.
