A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
I3EACH. FLORIDA, CREATING A CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE CONSISTING OF
SEVEN (7) RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH FOR THE PURPOSE
OF THE COMMITTEE REVIEWING THE CHARTER OF THE VILLAGE AND MAKING
WRITTEN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REVISIONS OF THE CHARTER TO THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF THE CHARTER REVIEW
COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
IIIs IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby create a
Charter Review Committee consisting of seven (7) residents of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 2. The Charter Review Committee shall meet as necessary, review the Charter of the Village of
North Pain) Beach and make written recommendations for revisions of the Charter to the Village Council.
All meetings of the Charter Review Committee shall be held at Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway No. One,
North Palm Beach, Florida, and shall be open to members of the public. The Charter Review Committee
shall complete its review and make its written recommendations to the Village Council prior to date of
dissolution of the Committee as set forth in Section 3 of this Resolution.
Section 3. The Charter Review Committee shall automatically be dissolved on the 30th day of June, 2002.
Section 4. The Village Attorney shall serve as an ad hoc member.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS l lth DAY OF OCTOBER, 2001.
