MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SESSION
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present, except the Village Attorney.
PURPOSE OF THE SPECIAL SESSION
The purpose of the Special Session was to interview applicants and appoint a member to the
Library Advisory Board.
APPLICANT INTERVIEWS
The following persons were interviewed by the Village Council:
Tina Chippas
Louva Rogers
SELECTION OF APPLICANT
Joan Tochner
Phyllis Wissner
By written ballot (attached to the minutes of record), the Council appointed Phyllis Wissner as a
member of the Library Advisory Board for a term expiring April 30, 2010. Thereafter, the name of
Phyllis Wissner was entered into Resolution 2009-51.
RESOLUTION 2009-51 ADOPTED — APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE LIBRARY
ADVISORY BOARD
Vice Mayor Manuel moved that Resolution 2009-51 entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
be adopted. Councilman Eissey seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
