A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO A LEASE EXTENSION
AGREEMENT ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A" WITH THE APOSTOLIC
ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DIOCESE OF PALM BEACH, HIS
SUCCESSORS IN OFFICE, A CORPORATION SOLE, EXTENDING THE
LEASE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF THE REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED
IN SCHEDULE "A' ATTACHED AND ADJACENT TO SAINT CLARE'S
CHURCH WITHIN THE VILLAGE TO JUNE 13, 2009; AND, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida,
does hereby approve the lease extension agreement attached as Exhibit "A" with the
Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Palm Beach, his successors in office, a
corporation sole, which agreement extends the lease agreement for use of real property
described in Schedule "A" attached and adjacent to Saint Clare's Church to June 13, 2009.
Section 2, The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the lease extension agreement with the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese
of Palm Beach, his successors in office, a corporation sole.
Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

LEASE EXTENSION AGREEMENT
THIS LEASE EXTENSION Agreement is made and entered into this
14th day of JANIIARY , 1990 by and between ROBERT N.
LYNCH, as Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Palm Beach, his
successors in office, a corporation sole, hereinafter referred to
as "LESSOR", and the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a municipal
corporation of the State of Florida, hereinafter referred to as
"LESSEE".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into a Lease Agreement
dated June 13, 1974, wherein LESSEE was to pay for and install
capital improvements on that certain property owned by the Diocese
of Palm Beach, described on the attached schedule "A" for the use
of Saint Clare's Church, North Palm Beach, Florida, and the Diocese
of Palm Beach, and for use by the LESSEE; and
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into a written modification
of Lease Agreement dated May 27, 1978; and
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE are desirous of entering into a
Lease Extension Agreement whereby the Lease shall be extended for
a ten (10) year period to June 13, 2009, upon the same terms and
provisions of the Lease Agreement as modified.
NOW. THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the premises and
benefits flowing to each party, the parties hereto do mutually
agree as follows:
1. The term of the Lease Agreement is extended from June 13,

or before June 13 of each year during the term of the Lease.
2. All other terms and provisions of the Lease Agreement
between the parties dated June 13, 1974, as modified by that
certain Modification of Lease Agreement between the parties dated
May 27, 1978, and not in conflict with this Lease Extension
Agreement, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
instrument to be signed in their respective names by their proper
officials and under the appropriate corporate seals, the day and
year first above written.
