VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
NEW DAY INTERNATIONAL DAY
WHEREAS, New Day Adult Care Center in North Palm Beach, is proposing New Day
International Day to celebrate and promote international diversity and showcase cultures
represented by the community;
WHEREAS, it was resolved by New Day Adult Care Center that this 26`" day of August, 2009
be designated as New Day International Day;
WHEREAS, New Day International Day serves three objectives: First, to recognize and promote
awareness of international diversity in our community; second, to recognize and inform about the
unique resources represented by the international community here at New Day; third, to
encourage everyone to seek out and to cultivate a global perspective and education;
WHEREAS, New Day Adult Care Center will hold an International Celebration and many other
international enrichment programs on the 26`" day of August, 2009, as part of New Day
International Day;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, David B. Norris, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the
Village ofNorth Palm Beach, do hereby proclaim August 26, 2009 as
NEW DAY INTERNATIONAL DAY
in the Village ofNorth Palm Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the Village of North
Palm Beach to be affixed this 5th day of August, 2009.
