A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON
MARCH 13, 1990.
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March, 1990, a General Election
was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, for the
purpose of electing Councilmen to the Village Council for Groups 1,
3 and 5, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were
appointed inspectors, clerks and deputies of said election:
North Palm Beach Community Center - Precincts 34 and 53:

Deputy: Richard L. Frick
Faith Lutheran Church, Precinct 48:

WHEREAS, on March 13, 1990, said inspectors, clerks and
deputies, after taking and subscribing their oaths in accordance
with law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns
certified that the total count of ballots cast, including absentee
ballots, is 2,543.
For Village Councilman, Group 1:
James B. (Jim) Eckersen 814 votes
Judy M. Pierman 1,470 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 3:
Jerry G. Gardner 1,254 votes
Harriet Nolan 1,183 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 5:
Manny Grinn 1,213 votes -
Tom Valente 1,126 votes
and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of
said General Election and find that the returns of the inspectors,
clerks and deputies of said election are true and correct
tabulations of the votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the
following are the results of the General Election for March 13,
1990.
For Village Councilman, Group 1:
James B. (Jim) Eckersen
Judy M. Pierman
For Village Councilman, Group 3:
Jerry G. Gardner
Harriet Nolan
For Village Councilman, Group 5:
Manny Grinn
Tom Valente
814 votes
1,470 votes
1,254 votes
1,183 votes
1,213 votes
1,126 votes
Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby
declared to be elected to the respective offices as follows:
Village Councilman, Group 1:
Judy M. Pierman
Village Councilman, Group 3:
Jerry G. Gardner
Village Councilman, Group 5:
Manny Grinn
Section 3. The results on the annexation question are as
follows:

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
