A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING PALM BEACH COUNTY REDIRECT MONIES
FOR PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD WIDENING'TO ROAD PROJECTS IN OTHER
MUNICIPALITIES.
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm
Beach does not wish for the Palm Beach County Board of County
Commissioners to proceed with the widening of Prosperity Farms Road,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have other street
improvement projects throughout the County that are not funded due
to budgetary limitations, and
WHEREAS, monies earmarked for the widening of Prosperity Farms
Road could be redirected to unfunded priority projects elsewhere in
the County or in other municipalities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Palm
Beach County redirect monies earmarked for widening of Prosperity
-Farms Road to other road improvement projects in other munici-
palities that are in higher demand and not proceed with the widening
of Prosperity Farms Road.
