IT'S NOT THAT ('0141) HERE The new lire engine for the Village of North Palm Beach arrived
this week with enough anti•freese in its radiator to take care of a 25adegreeebelowzero tempera-
ture, Albin R. Olson, village manager, reports. Shown above, inspecting the pumper engine, is
Albert G. Dudden, chief of the village police and fire departments. The $I3,750 fire truck is
equipped with 2,200 feet of hope and a 500-galion water tank, it Has announced, and will be
manned by four permanent members of Chief Dudden's department, plus eight, volunteers. In
the background is the new village fire station. The Village of North Palm Beach came under
village management Jan. 2 with the appointment of Olson, who was assistant manager at Port
Everglades prior to coming to this area. Olson has also been assistant to the city manager
at Daytona Beach.
