Mrs. Harold Tiedeman 20, Mrs, Lowell Can Duzee The American Association of University Women is the oldest and largest organization of women in the U.S. Founded in 1 881 with 190,000 members, A.A.U.W, is de- dicated to the advancement of women, promotion of positive societal com- munity changes. Locally the North Palm Beach Branch was founded by five women February 19, 1959. By the time the charter was presented by the Associ- ation, the Branch membership had surpassed its original 20 members. For the past twenty five years, the membership has steadily grown to the current level of 140 members. During these years, the Branch has maintained an important role in the expanding North County community.
