Dr. Benjamin F. Rogers,
dean of the College of Hu-
manities at Florida Atlantic
University in Boca Raton
will be the guest speaker
at the installation dinner
planned June 7 by the
North Palm Beach Chapter
of the American Associa-
t i on of University Wom-
en.
The 6:30 p.m. event will
be at the North Palm Beach
Country Club.
Dr. Rogers received his
A.B. a n.d M.A. degrees
from Harvard, Cambridge,
Mass., and his PH.d from
the University of Minneso-
ta, Minneapolis.
He is a former professor
of history at Florida State
University, Tallahassee and
from 1960-64 served as vice-
president and Dean of Jack-
sonville University.
He is currently on the
Board of Editors for the
Florida Historical Quarter-
ly.

Dr. Rogers' topic for the
evening will deal with Hen-
ry M. Flagler and the de-
velopment of the Florida
East Coast.
Officers to be installed
for two year terms during
the banquet are: Mrs. Rob-
ert White, first vice-presi-
dent; Mrs. Frederick Koll-
meyer, second vice-presi-
dent and Mrs. John Rigg
Jr., treasurer;
Continuing in office for
the next year will be Mrs.
Eugene Lehmann, presi-
dE nt; Mrs. Robert Ather-
ton, recording secretary;
and Mrs. Keith Cloyed, cor-
responding secretary.
Mrs. K. Edwin Obert will
conduct the installing cere-
mony.
Chairman of the event is
Mrs. Robert Winship.
