The purpose of the festival is to encourage and foster creative arts and crafts in the communi- ty. - - r- The Arts Festival planned for Saturday, Nov. 16, at the old North Palm Beach Country Club will have for sale all forms of original art, as well as some prints. New art books, chil- drens' books, and special- ty books suitable f o r Christmas giving and a fine selection of records will be for sale including chi 1- x drens', adults', and Christ- mas records. Janet Folsom, instructor at the Norton Gallery of Art has been named a third member of the jury of awards, it was announced by Mrs. William Shick, chairman of the A.A.V.W. event. All entrants must bring their work to the old North Palm Beach Country Club on Thursday, Nov. 14, be- tween 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Arts Festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
