Local Women Attend Workshop Eight members of tlje North Palm Beach Branch of American Association of Uni- versity Women attended the Area D Workshop of Florida Division recently in the Hotel George Washington. They were from left to right, seated, Mrs. William G. Shick, Mrs. J. Edwin Obert and Mrs. L. G. Van Duzee. Standing same order, Mrs. Harold Beery, Mrs. Herbert Gildan, Mrs. Philip Wooley, Mrs. Leigh Conover and Mrs. Ralph Huls. Mrs. Alan S. Rush of West Palm Beach, Florida Division Secretary, presided at the session. Luncheon speakers included Mrs. R. E. Barthelem, Florida Division President, Jacksonville, and Dr. Lalin Boone, Associate professor of English at Univbrsity of Florida. Mrs. Obert gave the invocation and Mrs. Gildan participated in a panel discussion on the topic, "Concern for the Common' Good". Mrs. Berry played the piano furnishing background music during intermission.
