RESOLUTION NO. 14-81
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIN BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety has been awarded under
Florida Statute 943.44 various articles of contraband through appropriate
legal seizure in accordance with Florida Statutes 943.42 and 943.43; and
WHEREAS, the proceeds fran these seizures and awards must be
appropriately secured in a Law Enforcement Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, this Fund must be established by the governing body of the
municipality in which the seizure took place;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the North Palm Beach Law Enforcement Trust Fund
is hereby established in accordance with Florida Statute 943.44.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 26TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1981.
