RESOLUTION NO. 39-79
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS BUILDING
LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE NORTH PALM BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY TO BE USED BY
NORTH PALM BEACH SENIOR CITIZENS GROUP FOR CONDUCT OF BINGO GAMES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, hereby specifically authorizes the use of the Senior Citizens
Building located next to the Village of North Palm Beach Public Library
for the conduct of bingo games as defined in Florida Statute 849.093. The
use of such premises shall be strictly in accordance with the provisions
of that statute and shall be conducted only by the Senior Citizens Group,
which has been in existence for a period of more than three years at that
location, and the entire proceeds derived from the conduct of such bingo
games, less actual business expenses for articles designed for and
essential to the operation, conduct and playing of bingo, shall be donated
by such organization for charitable, civic, community or benevolent work
in the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 2. This Resolution can be revoked at any time at the
pleasure of the Village Council.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect October 1, 1979.
