A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, TO THE BOARD OF PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RESPECT-
FULLY REQUESTING FUNDING FOR THE SCIENCE MUSEUM OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, The Science Museum and Planetarium of Palm
Beach County is an important educational, cultural and recreational
facility; and
WHEREAS, The Science Museum and Planetarium of Palm
Beach County is a County wide service organization deserving of
public support;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Village Council respectfully requests
the Board of Palm Beach County Commissioners to provide funding
from their budget to pay for the operation and maintenance of The
Science Museum and Planetarium of Palm Beach County so as to continue
its existence as a viable contributor to the welfare of the people
of Palm Beach County.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to deliver copies of the Resolution to the Members and Staff of the
Palm Beach County Commission.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
