RESOLUTION NO. 56-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A BID.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of 0. M. SCOTT & SONS, copy of which
is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of
North Palm Beach in accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village
officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this acceptance.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 13 DAY OF DECEMBER, 1973.

SPECIFICATIONS OF FERTILIZERS
1. PUTTING GREEN FERTILIZER 20-0-16
Analysis 20-0-16 (plus 5.5% sulfur) which includes the following
secondary and minor elements - calcium, magnesium, boron, copper,
iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc.
]006-of the nitrogen derived from urea and methylene ureas of
which a minimum of 33% is from water insoluble methylene ureas.
The remaining nitrogen derived from water soluble ureas and methy-
lene wrens. Nitrogen availability index (NAI) for the insoluble
fraction 40-50%. Potassium and sulfur derived from potassium
sulfate. Minor elements derived from soluble boro-silicate
(fritted trace elements) magnesium from magnesium oxide, calcium
from calcium oxide.
Product to be a ready -to -use granular, largely dust -free, composed
of largely dust -free particles. 75-80% of the particles pass
through a 10 mesh hut not through a 70 mesh US sieve.
Bulk density: 44-46 pounds per cubic foot

2. PHOSPHORUS FREE TURF TERTILIZER 2S-0-14

Analysis 28-0-14. All nitrogen derived from urea and methylene
ureas. A minimum of 33% derived from water insoluble methylene
ureas. Remaining nitrogen derived from water soluble urea and
methylene ureas. Potash and sulfur derived from potassium sul-
fate 0(2O). Nitrogen availability index (NAI) for the water
insoluble fraction 40-506.
Product to be a non -burning, ready -to -use granular, largely dust -
free, composed of homogenous dust -free particles. All nutrients
reacted and condensed to form a cellular self-supporting product.
No filler. 70 to 75% of the particles passing through a 10 mesh
but not through a 40 mesh US sieve.
Bulk density: 32-34 pounds per cubic foot.

3. TURF FERTILIZER 34-3-7
Analysis 34-3-7. A minimum of 98% of the nitrogen derived from
urea and methylene ureas of which a minimum of 15% is derived
from water insoluble methylene ureas. Remaining nitrogen derived
from water soluble urea and methylene ureas. A maximum of 2%
nitrogen and all phosphorus derived from ammoniated phosphate.
Potash derived from potassium sulfate. Sulfur derived from
potassium sulfate. Nitrogen availability index (NAI) for the
insoluble fraction 40-50%.
Product to be a non -burning, ready -to -use granular composed of
largely dust -free particles: No inert filler used. 85-9 06 of
the particles passing through a 10 mesh but not through a 40

soluble urea and methylene ureas. A maximum of 3.S% nitrogen and
all phosphorus derived from ammoniated phosphate. Potash derived
from potassium sulfate. Sulfur derived from potassium sulfate.
Nitrogen availability index (NAI) for the water insoluble fraction
40-50%.
Product to he a non -burning, ready -to -use granular, composed of
largely dust -free particles. No inert filler used. 75-80% of the
particles passing through a 10 mesh but not through a 40 mesh
US sieve.
Bulk density: 39-41 pounds per cubic foot.

is from insoluble methylene ureas. Remaining nitrogen derived
from soluble urea and methylene ureas. A maximum of 3% of the
nitrogen derived from arrnonicai sources. Nitrogen availability
index (NAI:) for the insoluble fraction 40-50%.
Product to be non -burning, ready -to -use granular, largely dust -
free, composed of homogenous particles. Ingredients reacted and
condensed to form a'cellular, self-supporting product. No filler.
75-80% of the particles should pass through a 10 mesh but not
through a 40 mesh sieve.
