A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE RESHAPING OF THE DITCH BEHIND JUNIPER DRIVE
IN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH SO AS TO ELIMINATE DRAINAGE INTO
THAT DITCH FROM PROPERTY LYING OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, AND ADVISING THE PROPERTY OWNER AND ADJACENT
MUNICIPALITY OF VILLAGE PLANS IN RELATION THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby instructs the Village
Manager to have the ditch lying behind Juniper Drive reshaped so as to
eliminate the deep depression therein and thereby to eliminate the ex-
cessive growth in said ditch and breeding place for rats, snakes and other
vermin. The Manager is instructed to have said ditch so reshaped that
it remains as a drainage facility for properties in North Palm Beach in
accordance with the plat dedication of said area.
Section 2. The Village Manager is directed to advise the City
Manager of Palm Beach Gardens of the intention of the Village of North
Palm Beach regarding its said drainage facility and also to advise Royal
American Industries, Inc., 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida, owner
of an adjacent shopping center, of the intention of the Village of North
Palm Beach to limit drainage in said ditch to single family residences
in North Palm Beach beginning July 1, 1974.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
