RESOLUTION NO. 13-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE RUNOFF ELECTION HELD ON MARCH
27, 1973.
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of March, 1973 a Runoff Election
was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose
of electing a Councilman to the Village Council for Group 2, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were
appointed Inspectors and Clerks of said election:
Faith Lutheran Church, Precinct Nos. 48 and 53:
Inspectors: Mrs. Esther Bricker
Mrs. Grete McBride
Mrs. Faye Lucas
Clerk: Mrs: Elizabeth Redding
Council Chambers, Village Hall, Precinct No. 49:
Inspectors: Mrs. Barbara Hill
Mrs. Joan Keelor
Mrs, Jetta Steed
Clerk: Mrs. Jane Jenkins
Elks Lodge No. 2069, Precinct Nos. 34, 50 and 52:
Inspectors:
Mrs. Ruth Brush
Mrs. Pearl Doran
Mrs. Millicent Walter
Mrs. Martha Schultz
Clerk: Mrs. Louise Nash
and,
WHEREAS, on March 27, 1973 said Inspectors and Clerks, after
taking and subscribing their oaths in accordance with law, made their
returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that the following
is the result of said Runoff Election, to -wit:
Total Machine Votes: 990
Total Absentee Votes: 5
For Village Councilman, Group 2: (2 year term)
Walter N. Colbath, Jr. received 534 votes
Everett R. Miller, Jr. received 461 votes
and,

WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of
said Runoff Election and finds that the returns of the Inspectors and
Clerks of said election are true and correct tabulations of the votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the
following is the result of the Runoff Election of March 27, 1973:
For Village Councilman. Group 2:
Walter N. Colbath, Jr. received 534 votes
Everett R. Miller, Jr. received 461 votes
Section 2. That the following candidate is hereby declared to
be elected to the office of Village Councilman, Group 2:
WALTER N. COLBATH, JR.
PASSEL) AND ADOPTED THIS 27 DAY OF MARCH, 1973.
