A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, CONCERNING A PETITION TO CHANGE THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH AND THE TOWN OF LAKE PARK ON NORTHLAKE
BOULEVARD
FLORIDA:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
Section 1. The Village Council hereby agrees in joint
concert with the Commission of the Town of Lake Park to petition the
Palm Beach County Delegation to the 1973 Florida Legislature to change
the boundaries between the Town of Lake Park and the Village of North
Palm Beach, so as to run the boundary line between these two municipali-
ties along the south curb line of the median strip in the center of
Northlake Boulevard from the intersection of Prosperity Farms Road and
Northlake Boulevard to the point where the boundaries of the Village
of North Palm Beach and the Town of Lake Park directly cross Northlake
Boulevard from North to South.
Section 2. The Village of North Palm Beach hereby agrees to
bear the cost of engineering and publication of notice for the legis-
lative acts in regard to this boundary change.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Mayor and Town Manager of the
Town of Lake Park and to send a certified copy of this Resolution to
the Chairman of the Palm Beach County Delegation to the 1973 Florida
Legislature, Representative Raymond Moudry.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28 DAY OF DECEMBER, 1972.
