A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE PALM BEACH COUNTY DELEGATION TO THE 1971
FLORIDA LEGISLATURE TO PASS A SPECIAL ACT REQUIRING ALL MUNICIPALITIES
AND PALM BEACH COUNTY TO GIVE NOTICE OF PENDING CHANGES IN ZONING
TO ANY OTHER MUNICIPALITY OR OTHER COUNTY, AS THE CASE MAY BE, WHICH
HAS PART OF ITS MUNICIPAL OR COUNTY LIMITS LYING WITHIN 1,000 FEET
OF THE AREA CONCERNING WHICH REZONING PETITIONS ARE TO BE HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Palm Beach County Delegation to the 1971
Florida Legislature is hereby requested to pass a special act pertain-
ing to Palm Beach County, Florida, requiring Palm Beach County to give
notice in writing at least fifteen days prior to acting upon any re-
zoning application for lands which lie within 1,000 feet of any
municipality in the county. Said notice shall be served upon the Mayor
of the municipality or municipalities involved and shall advise said
municipality of the pending rezoning application, the location of the
land involved, the existing zoning and the proposed new zoning, and
the time, date and place of any public hearing to be held thereon.
Section 2. The Palm Beach County Delegation to the 1971
Florida Legislature is hereby requested to pass a special act pertain-
ing to all municipalities in Palm Beach County, Florida, requiring a
municipality to give notice in writing at least fifteen days prior to
acting upon any rezoning application for lands which lie within 1,000
feet of any other municipality or any county. Said notice shall be
served upon the Mayor of the municipality or municipalities or upon
the Board of County Commissioners of any county involved and shall
advise said municipality or county of the pending rezoning application,
the location of the land involved, the existing zoning and the proposed
new zoning, and the time, date and place of any public hearing to be
held thereon.
