RESOLUTION NO. 344-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ATTORNEY TO INVESTIGATE THE POSSIBILITIES
OF INSTITUTING EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO ACQUIRE THE WATER AND SEWER PLANT
SERVING THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to
investigate the possibilities of the Village of North Palm Beach instituting eminent
domain proceedings to acquire the water and sewer distribution plant and facilities
which serve the Village of North Palm Beach and to report thereon in writing to
the Village Council within three weeks from the date of this Resolution, with
particular emphasis on the possibility of acquiring the system, the costs involved,
time, and complexities involved.
