RESOLUTION NO. 337-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION AND THE CHARTER BOARD ELECTION HELD ON MARCH
19, 1968
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of March, 1968 a General Election was held in the
Village of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose of electing Councilmen to the
Village Council for Groups 1, 3 and 5, and a Charter Board Election was held in the
Village of North Palm Beach, Florida pursuant to Chapter 166, Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were appointed
Inspectors and Clerks of said elections:
Precinct No. 48, Faith Lutheran Church
Inspectors: Mrs. Melba Phillips
Mrs. Faye Lucas
William Woodard
Mrs. Mary Woodard
Clerk: Mrs.Elizabeth Redding
Precinct No. 49, North Palm Beach Elementary School:
Inspectors:
Clerk:
and,
Mrs. Lillian Drudi
Mrs. Louise Nash
Mrs Mabel Cohn
Ralph Cohn
Mrs. Mary Jane Jenkins
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1968 said Inspectors and Clerks, after taking and sub-
scribing their oaths in accordance with law, made their returns to the Village Council,
which returns certified that the following are the results of said General Election
and Charter Board Election, to -wit:
Total Machine Votes: 301
Total Absentee Votes: 1
Total Write-in Votes 1
For Village Councilman, Group 1: (2 year term)

WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the_returns of said General
Election and Charter Board Election and finds that the returns of the Inspectors and
Clerk of said elections are true and correct tabulations of the votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the following are the
results of the General Election and Charter Board Election of March 19, 1968:
For Village Councilman, Group 1:
Allan V. Everard received 225 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 3:
David C. Clark received 219 votes
For Village Councilman, Group 5:
Thomas F. Lewis received 253 votes
Tom Rhodes (write-in) received 1 vote
For Member of the Charter Board
