RESOLUTION NO. 315-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
SETTING FORTH THOSE PERSONS WHO SHALL SIGN AND COUNTERSIGN CHECKS ON ALL DEPOSITORIES
OF FUNDS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 5 of Article IV of the Charter of the
Village of North Palm Beach, the Village Treasurer, FRANCES A. FOX, shall sign all
checks drawn on any depository of Village funds. In the absence or inability of
the Village Treasurer to sign such checks, they shall be signed by the Mayor,
Thomas F. Lewis, acting as Deputy Village Treasurer. -
Section 2. All checks in excess of $500.00 drawn upon any depository
of Village funds shall be countersigned by the Vice -Mayor, Thomas R Bell, or __
in the absence or inability of the Vice -Mayor to countersign such checks, they shall
be countersigned by any of the following members of the Village Council, being
David C. Clark, Allan V. Everard or Herbert A. Watt.
Section 3. Any depository of Village funds of the Village of North Palm
Beach may rely upon the authority herein conferred upon the persons stated to
withdraw funds from bank accounts owned by the Village of North Palm Beach until
delivery to it of a. certified copy of a. resolution of the Council revoking or
modifying the same, and that such authority shall include checks drawn to the order
of any of said persons.
Section 4. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to deliver a certified
copy of this Resolution to all current depositories of Village funds as soon as
possible.
Section 5. All ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or
resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
