RESOLUTION NO. 301-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE
RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 21, 1967.
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of March, 1967, a General Election was held in the Village
of North Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose of electing Councilmen to the Village Council
for Groups 2 and 4, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were appointedInspectors
and Clerk of said election:
INSPECTORS:
RALPH COHEN
ELIZABETH REDDING
MABEL COHEN
KATHERINE MITCHELL
CLERK: LILLIAN DRUDI
and,
WHEREAS, on March 21, 1967 said Inspectors and Clerk, after taking and subscribing
their oaths in accordance with law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns
certified that the following is the results of said General Election, to -wit:
Total Machine Votes: n73
Total Absentee Votes: 1
and,
FOR VILLAGE COUNCILMAN. GROUP 6: (2 year term)
THOMAS R. BELL received- L25 votes
JEROME R. WEDEKIND received 239 votes
FOR VILLAGE COUNCILMAN., GROUP 2:
HERBERT A. WATT received- L votes
GEORGE W. GEYER received- 266 votes
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of said General Election
and finds that the returns of the Inspectors and Clerk of said election are true and correct
tabulations of the votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the following is the results
of the General Election of March 21, 1967:

THOMAS R. BELL received- L22 votes
JEROME R. WEDEKIND received- 222 votes
FOR VILLAGE COUNCILMAN. GROUP 2:
HERBERT A. WATT received 406 votes
GEORGE W. GEYER received 266 votes
Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby declared to be elected to the
respective offices as follows:

VILLAGE COUNCILMAN. GROUP 2:
HERBERT A. WATT
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 22ND DAY OF MARCH, 1967
