RESOLUTION NO. 295-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND REQUESTING THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION
OF THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY TO SUPPORT LEGISLATION WHICH WILL KEEP
FLORIDA ON DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NUtTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach, Florida, has determined
that it is to the best interest of the citizens and residents of North Palm Beach, Florida,
and of the entire State of Florida that the State of Florida stay on "Daylight Saving Time,"
in accordance with the proposal of the United States Government.
Section The Legislative Delegation from Palm Beach County to the Florida
Legislature is hereby requested to take whatever steps are proper and necessary to have
the State of Florida stay on Daylight Saving Time together with the other states of the
Union.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS MA DAY OF FEBRUARY. 1967.
