RESOLU'P10N NO. 293-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, CREATING A FIREMEN'S
RELIEF AND PENSION TRUST FUND BOARD OF TRUS1'ELS, SETTING FORTH THEIR POWERS AND DUTIES,
AND DESIGNATING SIGNATORIES UPON SUCH FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A Board of Trustees of the Firements Relief and Pension Fund is hereby
created.
Section 2. The Board of Trustees shall consist of the Mayor, Chief of the Fire
Department, two members of the Fire Department to be chosen by motion of the Village Council
upon the recommendation of a majority of the members of the Fire Department, and a citizen of
the Village.
Section 3. The powers and duties of the Board of Trustees shall be as set forth
in Chapter 175, Florida Statutes.
Section 4. All funds of the Firemanrs Relief and Pension Fund shall be deposited in
a bank to be designated from time to time by the Village Council in an account entitled "Firemen's
Pension Fund."
Section 5. All withdrawals from the account provided in Section 4 above shall be
signed by the Village Treasurer and countersigned by the Mayor.
Section 6. Pursuant to Chapter 175.061, Florida Statutes, the following two regularly
employed firemen of the Village of North Palm Beach have been recommended by a majority of the
regularly employed firemen of the Village and are hereby chosen and appointed by the Village
Council to be members of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund of the
Village of North Palm Beach, to -wit:

JAMES SUTHERLAND
Section 7. Sylvester F. Zerniko be, and he is hereby, appointed by the Village
Council to be the citizen of the Village who is the remaining member of the Board of Trustees
of the Firemen's,Relief and Pension Fund, in accordance with Chapter 175, Florida Statutes.
Section 8. In accordance with Chapter 175, Florida Statutes, the appointments set
forth above shall be for a term of two years from date.
