RESOLUTION NO. 270-66
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL, NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA VOICING
APPRECIATION TO CHAIRMAN FLOYD BOWEN AND BOARD MEMBER CHELSIE SENERCHIA OF THE STATE
ROAD BOARD, THE PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMISSION AND GOVERNOR HAYDON BURNS FOR APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR THE URBANIZATION OF U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 1 IN NORTH PALM BEACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach, Florida, by this
CResolution voices its heartfelt appreciation. to Chairman Floyd Bowen and Board
Member Chelsie Senerchia of the State Road Department, to the Palm Beach County Commis-
sion and to Governor Haydon Burns for their efforts in securing an appropriation of
funds for the urbanization of U. S. Highway No. 1 in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Section 2. The Village Council wishes to commed these gentlemen for their
wisdom and foresight in providing necessary and proper urbanized roads in this -developed
and developing section of the Village of North Palm Beach. This appropriation will
contribute greatly to the orderly growth and development of the Village of North Palm
Beach and will contribute to the safety and convenience of the ever increasing number
of motorists and pedestrians who use U. S. Highway No. 1 in North Palm Beach.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to send a certified copy
of this Resolution to Chairman Floyd Bowen and Board Member Chelsie Senerchia of the
State Road Board, to the Palm Beach County Commission and to Governor Haydon Burns
in recognition of their accomplishments for the Village.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of April 1966.
