RESOLUTION NO. 234-65
A RESOLUTION OF TEE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM B EAGH, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 16, 1965.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of March, 1965; there was held in the Village of North Palm Beach,
Palm Beach County, Florida, a General Election for the purpose of electing councilmen to the
Village Council for Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4; and
WHEREAS, by due resolution, the following named persons were appointed Inspectors and Clerk
of said election, to -wit: Ralph J. Cohn, Sylvester F. Zerniko, and Cathryn Mitchell and Betty
Redding, Inspectors, and Nary Jane'Jenkins, Clerk; and
WHEREAS, on March 1^, 1965, said Inspectors and Clerk, after taking and subscribing their
iath in accordance with the law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns cer-
tified that the following is the result of said General Election, to -wit: - -
Total Machine Vote 744
Total Absentee Vote 3
TOTAL VILLAGE VOTE 747
For Village Councilman. Group ]:
Allan V. Everard received 581 votes.
Write in,Roger Boyer received 2 votes.
For Village Councilman. Group 2:
Herbert A Watt received 588 votes.
Write -In, Jim Moore received 2 votes.
For Village Councilman. Group 3:
Gordon G. Duncan received 378 votes.
Frederick W. Speaker received 341 votes.
For Village Councilman. Group 4:
Thomas R. Bell received 395 votes:
Karl E. Taylor received 344 votes.
AND
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of said General Election and
finds that the returns of the Inspectors and Clerk of said Election are true and correct tabula-
tions of the votes cast; now, therefore
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Village Council finds and declares that the following is the result
of said General Election, to -wit:
For Village Councilman, Group 1:
Allan V. Everard received 581 votes.
Roger Boyer (write-in) 2 votes.
For Village Councilman, Group 2:
Herbert A. Watt received 588 votes.
Jim Moore (write-in) 2 votes.

Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby declared to be elected to the respec-
tive offices as follows:
