RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH THE
GENERAL INTENTIONS OF THE COUNCIL IN ENACTING ORDINANCE NO. 91, WHICH CREATED A BOARD OF
GOVERNORS FOR THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB.
WHEREAS, the Village Council has by Ordinance No. 91 created a Board of Governors for
the North Palm Beach Country Club and has set forth the powers, duties, and functions of the
Board of Governors in said Ordinance No. 91, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to acquaint the members of the Board of Governors
appointed by said Ordinance of the intent and purpose of said Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In creating a Board of Governors for the North Palm Beach Country Club
and setting forth its powers, duties, and functions in Ordinance No. 91, it was the intention
and policy of the Village Council that the Board of Governors should operate the North Palm
Beach Country Club as nearly as possible and in such a manner as to relieve the taxpayers of
the Village of North Palm Beach from any undue financial burden or hardship but, wherever
possible, the facilities of the North Palm Beach Country Club should be kept available to
as many residents as is feasible as a community recreation facility.
