RESOLUTION NO. 105
A RESOLUTION OF THE yILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAC1F QF NORTH PALM
BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS FOR SUCH
'VILLAGE.
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8 through 11,
Article III, of Chapter 31481 Laws of Florida, Extraordinary Session 1956,
the same being the Charter for said Village, the following peraans be and the
same are hereby named to the following offices of such Village:
WALTER E. THOMAS
EMERY J. NEWELL
ALBIN R. OLSON
- Mayor
- Vice -Mayor
Village Clerk (who shall
shall also be-the.Registra-
tion officer of such Village)
EMERY J. NEWELL - Village Tax -Collector
ALBIN R. OLSON - Village Treasurer
Section 2.. The above named officers shall take and subscribe on
oath before an officer duly qualified to administer oaths that they will
faithfully and impartially execute the duties of their offices according to
the best of their ability and understandin g, which said oath will then be
filed with the Village Clerk and spread upon the minutes of the Village
Council. Section 3. 3. The above named Mayor and Vice -Mayor shall hold office
until their respective successors shall be elected in accordance with the
provisions of the Charter of the Village, •and shall qualify. The remaining
above officers shall hold their respective offices until their successors_
shall be appointed and shall qualify and during the pleasure of the
Village Council.
Section 4. None of the above named officers shall receive any pay
or emolument of any kind except as provided by resolution of the Village
-Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April , 1961.
