Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order at 11:25 p.m. and asked the ROLL CALL
Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being present.
0n motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all present BILL NO. 9 PLACED
voting aye, Bill No. 9 entitled: ON 2ND READING AND
READ BY TITLE ONLY
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA LEVYING A TAX ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
WITHIN THE CORPORATE. LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31,
1966, FIXING THE TOTAL VALUATION THEREON AND THE
TAX MILLAGE RATE THEREON FOR SAID YEAR: ADOPTING
A FISCAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR NOVEMBER 1, 1966
TO OCTOBER 31, 1967, INCLUSIVE, FOR THE GENERAL
GOVERNMENT AND DEBT SERVICE OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH AND FOR THE PARTICULAR USE OF THE
NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB: APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURES AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE
was placed on second reading and read by title only.
0n motion of Vice -Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all present
voting aye, Bill No. 9 was amended to include an additional account -
No. 2-110.1A - in the Country Club proposed budget which would include
in the proposed budget the additional amount of $5,715 for the Bar
Manager, which would change the total of Salaries and Wages from
$12,800 to $18,515 and also change the grand to+a7 for the Bar from
$42,885 to $48,600; also, adding Reserve Operation Fund, which is in
accordance with Ordinance No. 69-61, in the amount of $25,234, thereby
changing total appropriation from $393,923 to $399,638.
On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all present
voting aye, Bill No. 9 entitled

AMENDED AS ORDINANCE
NO. 135-66
was adopted as amended as Ordinance No. 135-66, setting the Village budget
for the 1966-67 fiscal year, on this 18th day of October, 1966.
0n motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vice Mayor Bell all present ADJOURNMENT
voting aye, the Special Session was adjourned at twelve midnight.
